All in a day's hike

We went hiking nearby over the weekend with the boys. Everyone had a good time (despite meeting our venomous friend below), but you can see that one of us was ready to go by the trail's end!

Calling All Cuties!!

Many of you know that two years ago, I submitted a cute pic of Matthew as a baby for the Gap Casting Call just for fun. Against all odds, we were selected as a finalist and got pretty far in the contest. It was such an awesome experience for us as a family that we decided to send another entry in for both boys. S'more Fun Times

During our wonderful cool weather last week, we had some great backyard fun - s'mores with our friends, the Rosamonds, and Matthew's first family campout. You can see that he and Preslie loved every sticky minute of their late-night treat. Later on, Matthew and Jon stayed up until the wee hours of the night listening to the coyotes and talking in their sleeping bags...maybe not the best school-night planning, but so much fun!
