Calling All Cuties!!

Many of you know that two years ago, I submitted a cute pic of Matthew as a baby for the Gap Casting Call just for fun. Against all odds, we were selected as a finalist and got pretty far in the contest. It was such an awesome experience for us as a family that we decided to send another entry in for both boys. The prize this time is like last time for those selected, but this time fans get to choose one "Fan Favorite" with votes to receive a family vacation to a Beaches Resort. S'more Fun Times

During our wonderful cool weather last week, we had some great backyard fun - s'mores with our friends, the Rosamonds, and Matthew's first family campout. You can see that he and Preslie loved every sticky minute of their late-night treat. Later on, Matthew and Jon stayed up until the wee hours of the night listening to the coyotes and talking in their sleeping bags...maybe not the best school-night planning, but so much fun!

Preschool Days

Matthew got to start preschool again this week, and he loves it once again this year! He is growing up so fast. It was so cute to see him walking into school yesterday and on down to the 2-year old classroom. Before I could even leave, he was already busy making a picture and coloring up and down his arms. :) What a big boy!

Our Beau-Friend

Our little friend, a black lab puppy, that Jon found while in the hunting fields last weekend went to his forever home last night right up the street. He is such a sweet dog, and he will be in doggie heaven at his new house - complete with a big pond and a few acres to run and play! We are excited to get to drive by and see "Beau" with his sweet new family. :)

4Wheelin'

After multiple trips to his friend Avery's house where he could barely be separated from her car, Jon got Matthew his very own four wheeler yesterday! Let's just say he likes it...okay, it was love at first sight. :) On the way out today, he said, "Bye-bye, four wheeler. Be right back. See ya later, alligator." Too cute!

Rice Cereal

Tyler ate his first baby cereal last night. I'd forgotten how absolutely yucky it is until Matthew stole a taste for himself and reminded me! Our hungry little baby has gobbled it up twice today already. I can't believe how quickly he's getting to be such a big boy!

Party in the Cove

We had so much fun over the 4th of July at the Lake of the Ozarks. No, we didn't hit up Party Cove, but we did have a good time with our fam in our own cove. V toted Matthew around as much as possible. Tyler enjoyed being held 24-7. Sarah popped right up on her skis like a champ. And Jon put a serious hurt on the kneeboard - yep, 360 on the first round! T and Gigi got their grandbaby snuggles in. Matthew and Tracy got matching temporary tattoos at Pirate's Cove putt-putt (these things do not come off for a week nowadays!), and Matthew bravely rode the rollercoaster at Miner Mike's like no other 2 year old. What a fun week. Oh, and of course we ate all the MO favorites - Imo's, Red Lion, St. Louis Bread Co., Randy's frozen custard and pasta on the Hill. Yum!
